Using the Barcode Scanner in Hippoo

Hippoo’s barcode scanner allows you to quickly find products in your WooCommerce store and set SKUs directly from the app, making product management faster and more efficient.

1. Search for a Product Using the Barcode Scanner #

1. Open the Hippoo app and navigate to Products from the main menu.
2. Tap the Barcode Scanner icon in the search bar.
3. Use your device’s camera to scan the product barcode.
4. The app will automatically find and display the product associated with that barcode.

2. Set or Update SKU Using the Barcode Scanner #

1. Open the product page for the item you want to update.
2. Tap the Barcode Scanner icon next to the SKU field.
3. Scan the barcode for the product.
4. The scanned value will be automatically entered into the SKU field.
5. Save the product to apply the updated SKU.
