Order Notifications Not Receiving in Hippoo App

If you installed the Hippoo app but are not receiving order notifications, follow these steps to resolve the issue:


1. Free vs Premium Users #

  • The Hippoo app sends notifications for “In Progress” orders by default for free users.
  • To receive notifications for other order statuses or events, you need to upgrade to the Premium version.

2. Check App & Mobile Notification Permissions #

  • The app requires permission to send notifications. Make sure notifications are enabled on your device.

For Android:

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Hippoo.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Enable All Notifications or at least Order Notifications.

For iOS:

  1. Open Settings → Hippoo.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Enable Allow Notifications.
  4. Make sure Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners are selected.

3. Test on Another Device #

  • If notifications still do not arrive, try:
    1. Installing the Hippoo app on another mobile phone.
    2. Logging in with the same account.
    3. Check if notifications are received.

4. Reinstall the Hippoo App #

  • Uninstall the Hippoo app from your device.
  • Reinstall it from Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS).
  • Log in again and check if notifications work.
