If you installed the Hippoo app but are not receiving order notifications, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Free vs Premium Users #
- The Hippoo app sends notifications for “In Progress” orders by default for free users.
- To receive notifications for other order statuses or events, you need to upgrade to the Premium version.
2. Check App & Mobile Notification Permissions #
- The app requires permission to send notifications. Make sure notifications are enabled on your device.
For Android:
- Open Settings → Apps → Hippoo.
- Tap Notifications.
- Enable All Notifications or at least Order Notifications.
For iOS:
- Open Settings → Hippoo.
- Tap Notifications.
- Enable Allow Notifications.
- Make sure Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners are selected.
3. Test on Another Device #
- If notifications still do not arrive, try:
- Installing the Hippoo app on another mobile phone.
- Logging in with the same account.
- Check if notifications are received.
4. Reinstall the Hippoo App #
- Uninstall the Hippoo app from your device.
- Reinstall it from Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS).
- Log in again and check if notifications work.
